This year marks a decade since The Diann Shaddox Foundation for Essential Tremor began from Diann Shaddox's vision that Essential Tremor would get the awareness that it deserves.
Surrounded by passionate people, we have witnessed firsthand how a simple dream could ignite worldwide change. It was this collaborative spirit that inspired us to unite the worldwide community, recognizing the unmet needs of everyone living with tremors.
Today, our passionate partners, Team DSF, and supporters brings a wealth of expertise and a commitment to chance the way the world understands Essential Tremor and help millions live healthy productive lives.

Diann Shaddox Foundation for Essential Tremor 10th Anniversary.
Essential Tremor is progressive and highly prevalent neurologic disease.
We take pride in the accomplishments we've made, but we have a long way to go. Our end goal is to unite the worldwide ET community, ease the suffering of ET and find new treatments and a cure.
Each of DSF programs have grown at a rapid pace and will continue to assist everyone with Essential Tremor.
Medical Research Program DSF Medical Research Program is driven to find a cause and cure for Essential Tremor. We believe with research; medicines, therapies, & alternative treatments will be discovered. ET clinical Trials are happening and we are very hopeful in the near future that there will be new medication for ET. ET medical devices and surgeries are being perfected to help ease the suffering for many.
Essential Tremor Program We are fulfilling out purpose and commitment to expand understanding of Essential Tremor throughout the world along with critical information, medical research, and ease the suffering for everyone with ET. We are uniting the worldwide ET community with over 100 countries. There is strength in numbers and a way for the worldwide ET community to share their experiences, moral support, and concerns for one another.
Family Assistance Program Our FAP has assisted and will assist people who have hardship because they have uncontrollable hand, head, voice, leg, and body tremors. FAP helps individuals & families living with uncontrollable tremors to live productive healthy lives.
Children Educational Initiative Program DSF's Children Educational Program includes educating our school systems about Essential Tremor. We are working with Legislators and Educators on a pilot program to inform Principals, Teachers, and school Nurses about Essential Tremor. Our goal is to help them identify and become aware of symptoms of ET in children in their classroom.
Stop ET Bullying & Suicide Awareness Programs Bullying affects people of all ages afflicted with Essential Tremor (ET) in schools & workplace. We are working to improved knowledge of Essential Tremor throughout the world. Recruit Volunteers & Team Members to help spread information about Essential Tremor and Suicide Awareness. Provide support and tools. Distribute Suicide Information on Social Media Platforms and ET Campaigns.
Patient Council. DSF Patient Council is made up of patients living with ET to help guide us ways to assist and support everyone afflicted with Essential Tremor.
DSF is not only made up of Doctors, Business Executives, but board members who are afflicted by Essential Tremor, along with DSF Founder Diann Shaddox.
DSF purpose and commitment is to expand understanding of Essential Tremor throughout the world along with critical information, medical research, and ease the suffering for everyone with ET. To tell the world it is alright to tremor, shake, drop things, and have voice tremors. Essential Tremor has been misunderstood and ignored for over a 100 years. It is time to make a stand and tell the world ET is a disability.
