Our Essential Tremor medical research program is uniquely focused on improving quality of life and revealing the latest treatments for Essential Tremor whether it is the cutting-edge medications or surgeries and finding a cure for ET.
Annually, we partner with leading researchers and institutions to support research that shows promise to help change how people live with ET.
Guided by our Medical Advisory Board the Diann Shaddox Foundation has joined research studies focused on exercise, nutrition, gait, speech, telemedicine, alternative therapies, and other interventions that affect quality of life.
We focus our efforts on becoming a world leader in clinical studies to use this information to advance treatment to accelerate progress toward advancing new treatments and a cure for Essential Tremor. We have implemented our funding plans, such as fundraisers and continue to partner with world investigators/researchers and industry leaders to move us closer to new treatments and better quality of life for people living with Essential Tremor.
We help to speed research by collecting ET data and encourage/support ET patients to volunteer for research clinical trials.
Our Foundation creates a number of tools for patients, their loved ones, and their physicians. These promote educational information about Essential Tremor disease, its symptoms, and new therapies in the pipeline so they can make informed care and research participation decisions.
We use ET Talks to share up to date news about Essential Tremor.
