Create a Fundraiser for Team DSF Essential Tremor Register now 

First, register online as a Team DSF fundraiser member and create a Team DSF Event. We will help you personalize a fundraising page to share your event details and collect donations.
 
By registering as an official Team DSF Fundraiser member,  you will have the opportunity to work with Team DSF.
DSF is excited to see supporters from all corners of the globe organizing their own unique events to raise awareness and funds for those affected by Essential Tremor. We encourage you to rally behind a family member, friend, or colleague who has received a diagnosis and make a meaningful impact in their life. You can create a dedicated event page for either an individual or a group event, along with a specific fundraising goal that reflects your ambition.

The creativity of our supporters is boundless! Whether you choose to host an entertaining movie night filled with laughter, a friendly golf day on the green, a delightful bake sale featuring cakes and cookies, or engage your community through a church event or bridge day, the possibilities are endless. From intimate gatherings to elegant small galas, wine and cheese tastings that tantalize the palate, or a fun trivia night filled with friendly competition—there’s an event for everyone. The key idea is that every contribution, no matter how big or small, can make a difference.

By harnessing your skills and leveraging your network to organize your event, you become an integral part of the Diann Shaddox Foundation movement to combat Essential Tremor. Almost any gathering can serve this purpose, and we are here to support you every step of the way on this impactful journey.

Moreover, the benefits of these events extend far beyond financial contributions. They play a crucial role in raising awareness in your community, highlighting the urgent need for research to find a cure. Compile your guest list and draft a list of materials you’ll need. Shop DSF.
If possible, reach out to local vendors to have supplies donated to help keep costs down.

  • RECRUIT HELP
Make a list of the supplies you’ll need. Identify friends or businesses that might be able to help get materials gathered or donated. Consider soliciting local youth groups or scout troops to fulfill community service requirements by helping staff the event.

  • SPREAD THE WORD
Send invitations to your guests, and be sure to let them know that, in lieu of gifts, you’re asking for donations to be made in support of Team DSF.
Be sure to include your Team DSF page URL on the invites to let friends, neighbors, and family all over the country know that they can support without being in attendance.  

  • ENLIST LOCAL BUSINESSES
Keep event costs low by asking local businesses and restaurants to donate food, supplies and services. Ask businesses to sponsor a hole on the course. 

  • CREATE AN EVENT SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE 
Create a event sponsorship package great way to outline the benefits of supporting your event while incentivizing involvement!

Register with Team DSF 
To host your Team DSF Essential Tremor Event, you must register online as a Team DSF fundraiser member, create a DSF information page, and read all important information. 

You will have the opportunity to work with Team DSF, who will help you throughout your campaign.

​From golf tournaments to celebrations, birthdays, etc., galas, pancake breakfasts to fun runs, and to cycling events, find the unique event that will work best in your community for Essential Tremor!
