Brain & Essential Tremor

What part of the brain controls Essential Tremor?
In Essential Tremor, an area of the brain called the thalamus sends faulty electrical signals, causing the hands, arms, head, or voice to shake uncontrollably along with the Cerebellum. The thalamus is about the size of a walnut, and there are two within the brain. If overactive cells are in the right thalamus, the person will have signs of left-sided tremor, and vice versa. Some patients suffer from tremor on both sides.
