The Board of Trustees advances the mission of The Diann Shaddox Foundation and provides strategic oversight and governance.
Medical Advisory Board
Guided by our Medical Advisory Board the Diann Shaddox Foundation has joined research studies focused on exercise, nutrition, gait, speech, telemedicine, alternative therapies, and other interventions that affect quality of life. Many of these studies have progressed to late-stage clinical research. And others have become therapies that are being used today by people living with ET.
Patient Council
The Patient Council is a network of ET Patients to gather information on direct issues to help inform/guide DSF and the ET worldwide community.
The purpose is to help the Diann Shaddox Foundation for Essential Tremor gain new insights and advice to explain ET problems or explore new opportunities by increasing healthy, high-quality discussions. The role of DSF Patient Council is not to make decisions but rather to provide current knowledge and critical thinking to assist DSF in answering questions and challenges living with ET.
