The Diann Shaddox Foundation, Who We Are
Grassroots advocacy is the core of our mission and the driving force behind our foundation's initiative. By uniting, we can effectively influence legislation, shape policy, and drive medical research to enhance the quality of life for all affected by ET.
The Diann Shaddox Foundation for Essential Tremor (DSF), a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded in 2014 by author Diann Shaddox, who has lived with the challenges of Essential Tremor (ET) her entire life.
Inspired by the heartfelt stories shared by others who struggle with ET, Diann felt a deep sense of urgency to make a difference. She created this foundation to raise awareness not only to the world but also to the ET Community, recognizing that more research is needed to find new treatments and cures.
DSF actively advocates for medical research and has developed a range of highly successful programs, such as a Scientific Advisory Board, ET Talks Webinar, and online support groups. We take pride in our accomplishments and understand there is a lot of work ahead, but we won’t stop until there is a cure for ET.
The Diann Shaddox Foundation is committed to relentlessly pursuing research to solve the mysteries of Essential Tremor.
